No other organiser in Bracknell Forest had published 2026 timings when this page was written on 5 September. That is normal: Bracknell Forest Council put its round-up out on 5 November in 2025, four days before the day itself.

What follows is what happened in 2025, from the council’s own account. The parades in this borough follow the same routes and times year to year, so this is a reliable guide to where to stand, but treat every time as unconfirmed until the organiser publishes.

Bracknell town centre

In 2025 Bracknell Town Council ran the parade. It began at 10.40am outside Princess Square, then moved through the town centre and The Lexicon. Everyone was welcome to line the route. (Bracknell Forest Council, 5 November 2025)

The council asked people to allow extra time for travel and parking, and warned that photography would be taking place at the event. The full route map was published on Bracknell Town Council’s Facebook page rather than its website, and that is where the 2026 version is likely to appear too. (Bracknell Town Council)

The Royal British Legion also ran a pop-up poppy shop at The Lexicon next to River Island in the week before, open 10am to 4pm, selling the year’s poppy pin and traditional paper poppies. Giant poppies were installed across the borough and stayed up until after Armistice Day.

Sandhurst

The Mayor of Sandhurst’s Service of Remembrance was held at 10.45am in Sandhurst Memorial Park, Yorktown Road, with the two-minute silence starting at 11am. It was followed by music from the Sandhurst Silver Band, the Churches Together Choir, and the Sandhurst and District Corps of Drums.

Parking restrictions applied around the park, and the details were published on Sandhurst Town Council’s Facebook page.

One thing to note for 2026: the town council’s offices at Memorial Park are being refurbished for six to seven weeks from 24 August, with no access to the office and all contact by email during the works. (Sandhurst Town Council)

Binfield

Binfield has the fullest programme in the borough and it runs across two days.

  • The Saturday before: St Mark’s Church held an outdoor Act of Remembrance at 2.30pm, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial.
  • Remembrance Sunday, first parade: left Oakmede car park at 9.30am, walking Terrace Road North to All Saints’ Church.
  • The service: All Saints’ Church at 10.15am.
  • Second parade: left the church at 11.15am and returned to Oakmede car park for 11.45am.
  • Road closures were in place on Terrace Road North during both parades.

Crowthorne

Crowthorne Parish Council lists Remembrance Sunday, Sunday 8 November in its community dates for 2026, alongside Silver Sunday on 4 October and Late Night Christmas Shopping on 4 December. No time or route has been published yet.

Bracknell Town FC

In 2025 the club made its Bucks and Berks County Cup home tie against Didcot Town on the Monday a Remembrance Game, with a collection for the Royal British Legion poppy appeal, free entry and a complimentary drink for serving and retired military personnel. Kick off was 7.45pm at the SB Stadium. Whether the fixture list allows the same in 2026 will depend on the draw.

Practical points

Terrace Road North in Binfield is closed for the parades, and the town centre parade crosses the pedestrian core of Bracknell rather than the road network, so the main disruption is parking rather than driving.
