The Lexicon's 2026 grotto is not announced; in 2025 it ran 22 November to Christmas Eve from £9.50 a child. Wokingham's is 5 December, Windsor from 12th.

The Lexicon has not announced a Santa’s grotto for Christmas 2026. On 25 October its news page, events pages and sitemap carried nothing about a 2026 grotto, Christmas market or lights switch-on. That is late by its own standards: the 2025 grotto page went up on 7 August 2025, and the grotto sold out. (The Lexicon, Christmas 2025 Santa’s Grotto)

Three Santa visits near Bracknell do have 2026 dates: a £5 church grotto in Wokingham on Saturday 5 December, Santa’s afternoons at Windsor on Ice from 12 December, and Lapland UK at Ascot, which is sold out except its premium tickets. This page will be updated as soon as The Lexicon publishes.

The quick answer

Is there a Santa’s grotto in Bracknell this year? Not confirmed yet. The Lexicon, which ran the town centre grotto in 2025 from Saturday 22 November, had published nothing for 2026 when we checked on 25 October. Confirmed nearby: All Saints Church, Wokingham, Saturday 5 December, 10am to 2pm, £5 grotto entry; Santa at Windsor on Ice, 12 noon to 5pm on 12, 13, 19, 20 and 24 December; Lapland UK Ascot, 7 November to 24 December, standard tickets sold out.

The Lexicon, Bracknell: not announced yet

The Lexicon’s grotto is run on the centre’s behalf by Bakehouse Factory. As of 25 October 2026 the centre’s newest items were the year-round Lexicon Express land train, the Halloween Giants and the Royal British Legion poppy shop. There was no Christmas 2026 page in its sitemap, which lists every Christmas event from 2022 to 2025. (The Lexicon, news)

What the 2025 grotto looked like, from The Lexicon’s own page, is the best guide to what to expect:

  • When: Saturday 22 November to Wednesday 24 December 2025.
  • Where: the former Topshop unit in Princess Square, opposite Dunelm, dressed as a winter forest with fauns and elves, storytelling and a hologram show before children met Santa. Each child took home a gift.
  • Off-peak: £9.50 a child plus £1 an adult, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays until Friday 12 December.
  • Peak: £12.50 a child plus £1 an adult, every Saturday and Sunday and every day from Monday 15 to Wednesday 24 December.
  • Booking fee: £2.50 a booking.
  • Hours: 10.30am to 6.30pm Wednesday to Friday off-peak, 9.30am to 7pm on Saturdays and peak weekdays, 9.30am to 5.30pm on Sundays, 9.30am to 1.30pm on Christmas Eve.
  • SEND sessions: every Sunday at 9.30am and on Wednesdays at 10.30am and 3pm, with more added later in the season. A limited number of dog-friendly “Santa Paws” packages were also sold.

The 2025 grotto sold out, so when the 2026 one is announced, booking early matters. The Lexicon’s Christmas lights switch-on and its festive market have not been announced either.

All Saints Church, Wokingham: Saturday 5 December

All Saints Church in Wokingham holds a Santa’s Grotto and Christmas Fayre on Saturday 5 December 2026, from 10am to 2pm. Grotto admission is £5, booked in timed slots through the church’s Ticket Tailor page, which showed tickets on sale on 25 October. (All Saints Church Wokingham, Ticket Tailor)

The church is in Wokingham town centre, postcode RG40 1TN.

Santa at Windsor on Ice: 12 to 24 December

Windsor on Ice’s calendar says Santa will be visiting from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December and on Christmas Eve. The rink is in Alexandra Gardens, Barry Avenue, Windsor, SL4 3HY, and runs from 13 November to 3 January. (Windsor on Ice)

The calendar lists Santa’s visits alongside public skating and the fairground but does not say whether seeing him needs a separate ticket. Skating is £17 for adults and £15 for children; our ice rink page has every price and session time.

Lapland UK Ascot: sold out

Lapland UK at Whitmoor Forest, Swinley Road, runs from Saturday 7 November to Thursday 24 December. It sits inside Bracknell Forest borough despite the Ascot address. Lapland UK’s help centre says Ascot is now sold out, with only the Golden Experience, its hospitality version, still on sale. (Lapland UK help centre)

Our Lapland UK Ascot page has the prices, timings and parking rules.

What we could not confirm

  • Squire’s Garden Centre, Wokingham (Heathlands Road, RG40 3AS) lists its Christmas events in a booking system our checks cannot read, so we have no 2026 grotto details from Squire’s itself.
  • Wellington Country Park, which runs Winter at Welly, blocked our checks on 25 October.

We list only grottos whose organisers publish the date and price. If you run one in Bracknell, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Binfield, Warfield or Winkfield, email hello@bracknellonline.co.uk with the dates, prices and a link to your booking page.
