Bracknell Forest's Member of Youth Parliament wants young people's views on transport costs, mental health and activities, in a survey taking 5 to 7 minutes.
Young people in Bracknell Forest are being asked what they would change about living in the borough, in a survey run by the area’s newly elected Member of Youth Parliament (MYP), Kingsley Jnr Adomako.
The Bracknell Forest Young People’s Survey 2026 asks about four things: the cost and availability of transport, mental health and wellbeing, activities and opportunities for young people, and what it is like to live in the local community. Kingsley says it takes about five to seven minutes to fill in.
He has not given a closing date, so anyone who wants to take part should do it soon.
Why he is asking
Kingsley told Bracknell Online he wants to find out what young people are actually going through rather than make assumptions about what matters to them. He says he will use the answers to pick out the issues that come up most and raise them with local decision-makers.
“I want to hear directly from young people across Bracknell Forest. Everyone has different experiences and different ideas about what could be better,” he said.
“Whether it is transport, mental health or the opportunities available to us, I want young people to have the chance to share what they think. The more responses we receive, the better understanding we can build of what young people really need.”
Who can take part
The survey is open to young people across the borough whether they are at school, college, in work or doing something else. Kingsley says nobody needs to be involved in politics to fill it in: “If you live, study or spend time in Bracknell Forest and have something to say about the community, your views are welcome.”

What it means for you
If you are a young person in Bracknell Forest, or have one at home, the survey is a short way to put transport costs, mental health support or the lack of things to do in front of someone whose job is to pass them on. Scan the QR code above or open the form here.
Transport is already under review at the council. It is surveying residents on the bus routes it pays for, and young people who rely on those buses can answer both.
The borough’s MYP works alongside Bracknell Forest Youth Voice, the council’s youth group, which says it is keen to take on new members.
