Bracknell Fireworks: Sandhurst Display Set for 31 October

One firework display in Bracknell Forest has a confirmed 2026 date: Sandhurst Town Council’s, on Saturday 31 October at Brookside Field. Bracknell Rugby Club, which runs the borough’s other big display at Lily Hill Park, had not published a 2026 date when this page was written on 5 September. Bonfire Night itself falls on Thursday 5 November 2026.

Sandhurst: Saturday 31 October, confirmed

Sandhurst Town Council’s own community website lists the Sandhurst Fireworks Event on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at Brookside Field. (Sandhurst Diary, Sandhurst Pride)

Two things are worth knowing about that entry.

• The venue name is new. The diary says Brookside Field. The council’s offices and the town’s main park are at Memorial Park, Yorktown Road, Sandhurst GU47 9BJ, and recent displays have been billed at the Memorial Park. Check the exact location with the council before setting off.
• No start time, admission price or parking arrangement has been published yet. The diary is a one line entry. The council has run the event free in past years, but it has not said so for 2026, so treat the price as unconfirmed.

The council has, separately, confirmed one thing about the programme: the winner of this year’s Sandhurst’s Got Talent competition gets “a coveted spot to perform live on stage at the massive Sandhurst Town Council Fireworks Event on October 31st, 2026”. Auditions were set for Saturday 12 September 2026, with acts limited to five minutes. (Sandhurst Pride)

One practical note if you are planning to contact the council: its offices on Yorktown Road are being refurbished from Monday 24 August for six to seven weeks, with no access to the council office and all contact by email to stc@sandhurst.gov.uk during the works. (Sandhurst Town Council)

Bracknell Rugby Club, Lily Hill Park: not announced yet

The club’s annual display is the biggest ticketed event in Bracknell itself. As at 5 September 2026 its news page carried items about the new season and a comedy night on Friday 9 October, and nothing about fireworks. (Bracknell RFC news)

What the club published last year is a fair guide to the shape of it. The 2025 display ran on Sunday 2 November, with gates open at 5pm and closing five minutes before the show, and the fireworks starting at 7.15pm, at Bracknell Rugby Football Club, Lily Hill Park, RG12 2UG. Tickets were online only and the club stated plainly that none would be sold at the gate. (Bracknell RFC, 6 October 2025)

The last prices the club published on its own website were for the 2023 display: £7 for adults, £4 for children, with under-fives free. That page also sets out the rules that have applied every year since. (Bracknell RFC, 26 October 2023)

• There is no parking at the club. Its own advice is to walk or find another way there, and to park considerately for neighbours if you must drive.
• No sparklers and no personal fireworks. The club says both are dangerous in a crowd and will not be allowed.
• Three access gates, so there is no need to queue at the front of the club.
• Dogs are discouraged because of the noise.
• The event is run entirely by volunteers.

In previous years tickets went on sale in October, so expect an announcement in the next few weeks. This page will be updated when the date lands.

Ascot Racecourse: Saturday 31 October, the same night

The region’s largest display is over the borough boundary in Windsor and Maidenhead. Ascot Racecourse has confirmed its Fireworks Spectacular Family Raceday for Saturday 31 October 2026, with tickets from £29 in the Queen Anne Enclosure, £25 each for groups of seven or more, and from £44 in the King Edward VII Enclosure. Gates, first race and display times all appear as empty headings on the racecourse’s own page at the moment, so they are not yet fixed. Racing runs through the afternoon and the display follows the last race.

That clash matters if you are choosing: Sandhurst and Ascot are on the same Saturday night, the weekend before Bonfire Night.

Crowthorne and the rest of the borough

Crowthorne Parish Council publishes a list of community dates for the year. It runs to a flower festival, a summer event, Silver Sunday, Remembrance Sunday and the Late Night Christmas Shopping evening, and it contains no fireworks display. (Crowthorne Parish Council newsletter, summer 2026)

So the honest answer for the borough is two displays within its own boundaries in a normal year, Sandhurst’s and the rugby club’s, with Ascot as the large paid alternative next door.

Getting there and parking

Neither confirmed venue has easy parking on the night.

• Lily Hill Park (RG12 2UG) has no club parking at all. Lily Hill Drive and the surrounding streets fill early, and the club asks visitors not to block neighbours’ access.
• Sandhurst Memorial Park (GU47 9BJ) has a car park off Yorktown Road, the A321, which is the usual arrival point for town council events there. If the event really is at Brookside Field, confirm the entrance before you travel.
