Inspectors scored Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematorium 705 out of 735 in September. What a cremation there costs, from £415 to £1,720, and how to book.

Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematorium has been rated outstanding by national inspectors. It scored 705 out of a possible 735, or 96%.

The inspection was carried out in September by the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities, the body whose codes of practice the council follows. Bracknell Forest Council, which runs the site, announced the result on 20 October. (Bracknell Forest Council, 20 October 2026)

What the inspectors rated outstanding

The council says the site was rated outstanding across most areas of its service. The outstanding areas included:

  • cremation administration
  • ceremony facilities
  • cremation facilities
  • grounds and memorialisation
  • service and staff
  • environmental

According to the council, the inspector’s report praised “consistently high standards”, professional staff and the dignified care given to every family. It also noted the well-kept grounds. The council has not published the report itself.

Councillor Iskandar Jefferies, the cabinet member for leisure, culture, public protection and democracy, said the result “reflects the commitment of our staff in maintaining excellent standards across every aspect of the service, from supporting families and funeral directors, to caring for the grounds and facilities”.
